The much awaited small car, Hyundai Eon will officially be launched in the Indian auto market on October 13th, 2011. This is really good news for Indian small car lovers that the new Hyundai small car will be offered to the customers before this Diwali. Few days ago, the company has already made announcement that will launch the all new Hyundai Eon on this mass festive season of Diwali. The Diwali festive season is the business season for Indian auto makers. So, India based all the auto manufacturers are launching their new car models in the market to impress the customers. Hyundai Motors is country's second largest passenger car maker company in India which has also joined the new launch race and now it is finally ready to launch this India bound small car in competitive price range. It is expected, Hyundai Eon price will fall in the range of Rs. 2.50 lakh to 3.50 lakh at ex-showroom which would take on the Maruti Alto and Chevrolet Spark.

Hyundai Eon comes equipped by a 814cc, three cylinder petrol engine that makes out maximum power of 56ps at 5500 rpm and belts out peak torque of 7.65 Kgm at 4000 rpm. The engine of new Hyundai small car is mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox while an automatic version is also expected by end of this year which will be a surprise for the Hyundai Eon lovers. Hyundai Eon mileage is 21 kmpl which is impressive.
